Objective
To Create an Atmosphere that will bring Male netball to the forefront locally and internationally. Combining the senior female counterpart with the competitive level is also essential.

When the question was brought forward about putting together a USA Male National Squad to participate in the America Male International Championship hosted in St. Kitts & Nevis, the wheels started to go in motion. An executive committee was hand-selected and formulated to put things together. With sleepless nights and long days, the committee worked hard to find a starting point.
21 Athletes Answered the Call
Invitations were sent out to all Male Clubs and individual members. A response of 21 persons accepted the call to participate in what we now call a "movement."
January - September 2024
Just after the holiday, a slew of events was put in place: training schedules, fundraisers, and unlimited meetings. Every month moving forward, activities were organized on what needed to be accomplished and goals to be met. Despite obstacles and negative influences from outside sources, the team was determined to push through.
After a slate of interviews, Ashlii Williams was selected as Team Manager. She brought a plethora of experience and immediately started putting things in place, creating comprehensive spreadsheets for budgets, accountability tracking, sponsorships, and gear management.
Despite fundraising challenges requiring self-funding, the team remained committed: "USA Netball was going to have a representative." The team traveled to St. Kitts & Nevis, making history as the first USA Male National Team to officially participate in the America Male Netball Championship on an international stage.

"Making the initial effort even to be there to participate was considered a win from nearly all countries. Uniforms appearance, gear, sweatsuits, and opening and closing attire were all met with high praise. America's Men's Netball Association was put on notice."

The tournament brought together teams from across the Americas. The atmosphere was welcoming, with everyone excited to be part of something great. USA's first match was scheduled at 6:30 AM against Grenada - a challenging start that set the tone for what was to follow.
Despite the challenges - dealing with multiple emotions, varying levels of experience, and the pressure of international competition - management and players were determined to see it through. The team was consistently complimented on how they approached each game with the same intensity and spirit, as if it were their first.
Encouraged by peers from neighboring countries and tournament organizers, the team kept their heads up and stayed focused on the future. The experience taught valuable lessons about commitment, discipline, and the sacrifice it takes to make a national program successful.
"A lot can be learned from this experience to better prepare for the next go around. The experience is one to dissect, evaluate, reset, and put proper planning and preparation in place. Everyone is looking forward to seeing what USA Male Elite Netball has in store for the 2026 Championship season."
